Borago Seed Oil is used in HapiSkin because it is also very rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The skin can produce GLA from linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid obtained from diet. linoleic acid in the body is converted to GLA by the enzyme Delta-6-Desaturase (D6D), then the skin convert  GLA into a Prostaglandin 1.
